Lake Zurich remodeling
What we build in Lake Zurich
Lake Zurich started as a summer resort. After World War II, most of its summer cottages were winterized for year-round living, and the village grew from 3,800 residents in 1966 to over 18,000 by 2000. That history shows up in remodeling. Converted cottages near the lake often have low ceilings, added-on rooms and plumbing that has been patched over decades, so we plan for some surprises behind the walls. Homes in the newer subdivisions are more predictable, and owners usually want bigger kitchens and updated primary baths.
Kitchen and bathroom remodels that change plumbing, electrical or walls need a village building permit. We prepare the drawings, pull the permit, and meet the inspectors on site.
Every Lake Zurich project starts with a free in-home consultation. Rafal measures the space, looks at what's behind the walls where he can, and talks through how you want the room to work. A few days later you get an itemized written quote with a fixed price and a start date.
