What we build in Buffalo Grove
Buffalo Grove's first neighborhood was built along Bernard Drive in 1957 and 1958 by Al Frank. The homes were small ranches, and most had no basement. Large subdivisions followed, including Levitt's Strathmore, and the village went from 164 residents at incorporation in 1958 to nearly 43,000 by 2000. In the early ranches, without a basement, plumbing changes go through the slab or crawlspace, which affects the cost of moving a sink or adding a bath. In the later two-stories, owners usually want to replace builder-grade kitchens and fiberglass tub surrounds.
Kitchen and bathroom remodels that change plumbing, electrical or walls need a village building permit. We prepare the drawings, pull the permit, and handle the inspections.
Every Buffalo Grove project starts with a free in-home consultation. Rafal measures the space, looks at what's behind the walls where he can, and talks through how you want the room to work. A few days later you get an itemized written quote with a fixed price and a start date.
